NEW Gold Maintenance Dramatically improving safety and reliability

To ensure comfortable use of the elevator system, we recommend you to enter Fujitec's remote maintenance and monitoring system "New Gold Maintenance" program, which has dramatically improved safety and reliability of our elevator systems. This is an advanced remote maintenance and monitoring system enabling accurate and rapid action while simultaneously transmitting video, audio and data.

Around-the-clock Remote Inspection

The "Safenet Center" monitors operating status of elevators 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and executes an automatic inspection operation to diagnose the elevator performance. It catches the first indication of an improper function to perform preventative maintenance. In addition, it reduces the number of elevator shutdowns for maintenance inspection required conventionally, and it also shortens shutdown time for an inspection.

The "MIS", Fujitec's unique information system utilizing IT, realizes highly accurate maintenance services.

Fujitec operates our own network information system "MIS: Maintenance Information System" throughout the nation to offer optimal maintenance services according to the operating status or the use rate of the elevator. Various data, maintenance work history, technical information, etc. related to all Fujitec products are managed in a unified way on the mission-critical database on the intranet. Customer engineers diagnose products via the state-of-the-art portable terminal and deal with exact preventative maintenance, thus realizing highly accurate maintenance services.

Checking the status with video and audio

A compact camera is installed in an elevator car, which is connected to Fujitec's "Safenet Center" via a communication line. Should a problem occur, data required for analysis will be transmitted, and at the same time, in-car video taken by the compact camera will be automatically transmitted. If people are trapped in the elevator, the staff at the "Safenet Center" will directly communicate with passengers via intercom, and evacuate passengers within the minimum possible time by means of remote control, while announcing the status on the in-car "LCD display." At the same time, Fujitec's customer engineers will be sent to the site.
* In some cases, such as initiation of legal safety devices, evacuation by remote operation may not be possible.

ISO Certifications Acquired
We have acquired ISO9001 and ISO14001.

In March 1993, Fujitec acquired "ISO9001" certification, the international standard for quality management systems, for the first time in the elevator industry in Japan. This proves that Fujitec products are manufactured under a strict quality management system. In July 1999, Fujitec also acquired the "ISO14001" authentication, the international standard for environmental management systems.
We at Fujitec will further enhance our quality and the environmental management systems in the future and positively pursue high quality and high reliability as well as environment preservation activities.
