Universal Design

Thoughful attention has been given to the design to ensure ease of operation by general users, senior citizens, wheelchair users and small children. The design conforms to the Japanese "barrier-free transportation law" and "heart building act."

Space-Saving

An 11-passenger capacity has been realized with a hoistway width restricted to 1,700mm and entrance width to 900mm. Furthermore, by installing a traction machine in the hoistway, the machine room becomes unnecessary and a pit depth of 600mm, which is the shallowest required for roped elevators, saves extensive pit excavation work.

Low Costs

An integrated hoistway unit and a reduction in construction time needed have enabled a sustantial reduction of initial construction costs. Furthermore, the elevator adopts the latest cost-effective mechanisms such as inverter control and energy-saving operation.

Short Construction Work Time

The elevator equipment is pre-incorporated in the steel constructed hoistway with a hairline-finished stainless steel exterior. The unit is delivered in installments for on-site assembly. The employment of this "integrated type divisible unit" promotes labor-saving and reduces the construction and installation period including the hoistway to only 10 days.
